E.T.
MILLIGAN
is an accomplished speaker, published author and
award-winning poet. He was born in Leesville, Louisiana in
1959. He graduated from Leesville High School in 1977 and
went on to earn a Bachelors’ Degree in News-Journalism from
Northwestern State University in 1981 and a Masters’ Degree
in Administration from Central Michigan University in 1995.
He is a veteran of the Armed Forces having served the nation
both at home and abroad. He retired in 2004 as a Lieutenant
Colonel after 23+ years of active service. He has authored
three published novels, which includes one fiction
young-adult novel entitled The Looking Glass Self, a
non-fiction biographical novel entitled On Linda: Love, Loss
and Renewal, The Case For Human Organ Sharing and his most
recent novel, a fiction detective drama, entitled Past The
Line, the first in a detective book series. He is currently
authoring the second book in the detective series entitled
No Bars To Hold. He has also excelled in poetry, having
self-published a book of poetry entitled Images of Life. He
was the recipient of the International Pen Award for his
poem
I’ll Never Die and the Editors’ Preference Award for
his children’s poem,
If I Were A Tree. His poetry has been published in
nine national and international anthologies. E.T. founded
his own book publishing company in August 2005 and recently
moved the company operation to San Antonio, Texas. E.T. has
been the recipient of numerous recognitions including
Who’s Who Among Students in Colleges and Universities,
Outstanding Young Men in America and Omega Psi Phi
Fraternity Citizen of the Year. He has been a guest
speaker and lecturer for numerous church, youth, and civic
groups and has served on a variety of charitable and
educational committees and organizations.
