You have constructed a background that gives the characters added dept through their interaction with ordinary things. I felt like I had been to the Mandarell estate.
THE LOOKING GLASS SELF keeps the reader turning pages. You have a command of the vital element of pace. Your writing is well-paced and balances action and narration. You capture your reader’s interest from the beginning and sustain it with powerful episodes like when Pepe dies. This novel has an excellent story line.
